Homeroute.co.nz is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and its Information Privacy Principles. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Technical data (IP address, browser type, operating system, cookies); usage data (pages viewed, searches, time on site); and map-interaction coordinates used to calculate travel-time searches. Homeroute does not require an account, so we do not hold registration details.
To deliver and maintain the service, to personalise search and map results, to measure site usage, and to show advertising. We do not sell your personal information.
Necessary cookies remember language and session state. Google Analytics 4 measures site usage and Google AdSense shows ads; both may set cookies. We do not run session replay on this site.
We use Vercel Inc. (hosting), Supabase Inc. (database, EU Frankfurt), Geoapify GmbH (maps and travel-time), Google LLC (Google Analytics and Google AdSense). These providers process data on our behalf. Some store data outside New Zealand, including in the United States and the European Union. The operator is established in Finland, so information is also handled there. Where information is disclosed overseas we require comparable protection consistent with the Privacy Act 2020.
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you. Email support@homeroute.co.nz and we will respond within 20 working days.
If you are not satisfied with our response you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).
